That will certainly let them gain self-confidence and self-sufficiency while having new experiences. Whether it is a summer camp or a winter trek, camping proves to be a full package with lots of beautiful memories. Therefore, the National Camp Day was introduced to tribute all the campers, who sacrifice the peaceful luxurious life and love of their families. They do this just to live an adventurous life, collect information from unseen and hidden places, and share their discoveries with others. The purpose of National Camp Day is just to tribute those, who love innovations.
The history of National Camp Day can be traced back to Briton Thomas Hiram Holding, and it gained popularity from the campers that used to visit the river Thames in London. In the 1880s, the river was visited by a huge number of campers for pleasure boating. At an early age, camping equipment was heavy, and it was difficult to move from one place to another place; therefore, boating proved to be the best option for transportation, and later on, the transportation craft was converted into a camping tent. Holding is considered a father of camping, but at the start, his camping and tours were confined to the River Thames only. With the passage of time, he made various camping groups that visited different countries and wrote many books. Both the young boys and girls started camping in the late 1800s and left their luxurious homes and well-established towns. Their acts of sacrifice opened new avenues of researches and innovations, and consequently, camping became a full-fledged industry that started generating revenue to support the country’s economy.
Therefore, an exclusive National Camp Day was introduced to tribute all the campers and have a profound impact on the enthusiastic youth.
